Service Overview:
Medical equipment and/or supplies provided to consumers for use in recovery, rehabilitation, and/or management of chronic conditions. Accreditation standards include the provision for instruction in the set-up, use and safe operation of the equipment and/or supplies, maintenance, repair and replacement, selected clinical and specialty services (assessments, disease management).
Who should apply:
Any organization providing products or services directly to consumers. Some of the products/services can include but are not limited to: Clinical respiratory, complex rehab, sleep disorders, asthma and COPD, Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) Devices, Hospital Beds-Electric, External Infusion Pumps and Supplies, Pneumatic Compression Devices, Speech Generating Devices Patient Lifts, Wheelchairs-Standard Power, Enteral Nutrients, Equipment and Supplies, Diabetic Shoes/Inserts-Off-the-Shelf.
Deeming Info:
CMS DMEPOS (durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics and supplies) approved Accreditation Organization.
