Performance Excellence: Stepping Up To Quality - 2010 Top Ten Deficiencies - Part II
CHAP hosted a series of educational webinars to assist CHAP accredited providers and other organizations seeking accreditation in developing skills with which to ensure compliance with the standards.
Continuing the 2010 Educational Webinar series, "Performance Excellence: Cultivating An Environment for Success," CHAP offered this new series of educational webinars, detailing the top ten deficiencies cited across all services for agencies surveyed in 2010.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of the module participants were be able to:
1. Discuss at least three (3) changes in compliance trends between 2009 – 2010.
2. Apply strategies for monitoring ongoing process improvement and performance excellence.
3. Identify at least three (3) key concepts for cultivating an environment for performance excellence.
The series was hosted by Gale O. Surrency, MA, BSN, CHAP Project Specialist. Ms. Surrency has served in various roles at CHAP and has been a consistent advocate for quality over the last eleven years. Currently Ms. Surrency serves as a project specialist, providing strategic counsel and support for the CHAP standards revision process, the CHAP Board of Review, and as CHAP Education Faculty.
