National Public Health Week 2015

Monday, April 6 marked the start of National Public Health Week (NPHW), a time to recognize the contributions of public health and highlight issues that are important to all of us in public and community health. The theme of NPHW this year is Healthiest Nation 2030, promoting efforts to raise the standard and quality of health care across the nation.

50 years ago, CHAP was created as a joint venture between the American Public Health Association and the National League for Nursing.  We became the first accrediting body for home and community-based health care organizations in the United States. Since then we have made great strides to help our customers navigate the future and provide the highest standard of care by bringing deep insights, best practices and thought leadership to the people we serve.

We hope you take some time this week to learn more about who we are at CHAP and the work we are doing in the field of community and public health. While on our website, check out all our education offerings and state up to date on everything CHAP by reading The Standard. Through constant learning and growth, we can work together to reach the goal of Healthiest Nation 2030!
