Call for Participants for IMPACT Act Pilot Study

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is currently seeking participants for a pilot study designed to develop and implement two Transfer of Health Information and Care Preferences (TOH) quality measures. These TOH measures meet requirements under the Improving Medicare Post-Acute Care Transformation Act (IMPACT Act) of 2014.

CMS has contracted with RTI and Abt to investigate data collection methods and time to complete the items, the feasibility of implementing the TOH quality measures, and measure properties. To participate in this study an agency must have been Medicare-certified for at least one year.

More information on this pilot study is available through this recruitment letter. Agencies interested in participating should submit an interest letter to sclark@rti.org by Tuesday, January 17.
