CHAP Private Duty Accreditation Workshop

Gwen Franzgrote, Director of Accreditation at CHAP, led a private duty accreditation workshop last week in Iselin, New Jersey as part of our ongoing effort to help customers navigate the future. This session was developed in coordination with the Home Care Association of New Jersey (HCNJ) as a result of the recent law passed in New Jersey requiring accreditation for licensure for all health care service firms in the state of New Jersey.

This half-day workshop, presented by HCNJ, was designed to help New Jersey health care service firms understand specific accreditation standards and key performance areas, such as patient rights, provision of care and the underlying principles of an agency’s mission.

At CHAP, one of our goals is to make the journey to achieving accreditation as seamless as possible. By breaking down information surrounding the benefits of accreditation, how to succeed in a competitive market and avoid common accreditation pitfalls, we can assist current and future customers reach their goals and thrive.

Thanks for your questions! CHAP was invited by the New Jersey State Association. We have affinity agreements with both California and the HomeCare Association of Florida (HCAF), if you reach out and express interest we can potentially set up a training in your states.

Additionally, we are also conducting a webinar series and various other online accreditation and renewal courses. More information can be found under our Resources tab.
