Nicole Silverman is the Chief Operating Officer at the National Quality Forum (NQF), a not-for-profit health policy organization based in Washington, DC that works to catalyze improvements in healthcare.
Prior to coming to NQF, Ms. Silverman was a Senior Associate in Booz Allen Hamilton’s health line of business, managing projects related to quality measurement, patient safety, and the use of health IT to improve performance. Ms. Silverman also served as Booz Allen’s subject matter expert in health reform. Ms. Silverman came to Booz Allen from the Maryland Hospital Association, where she led the Quality Indicator Project suite of quality measurement, reporting, and analytics products, and also served as vice president within the Association’s Center for Performance Sciences research and consulting subsidiary. Ms. Silverman’s background also includes strategic and operations positions with community and teaching hospitals.
Ms. Silverman is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Wesleyan University, and received an MBA in healthcare management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
