Home Health and Hospice Aides and Compliance

Home Health and Hospice aids play a huge role in the day to day care of patients at many of the agencies we accredit. As a result, of their growing role, Home Health and Hospice agencies can face a number of challenges when it comes to collaboration with aides as well as documentation and following a plan of care. During this session, CHAP Site Visitors, Vicky Lyons and Karen Basile will take the time to walk through some of the common stumbling blocks that they encounter during site visits. Our goal is to provide attendees with the tools to confidently prepare for a site visit, taking the critical support provided by aides into consideration.

CHAP will host a Town Hall webinar to provide organizations an opportunity to participate in a live Q & A session with CHAP leadership, designed to outline how the new Conditions of Participation (CoP) will impact the current CHAP Standards of Excellence and their upcoming revision. The final rule was published in the Federal Register on Friday, January 13th and will go into effect on July 13th of this year.
